At various times during the year we have the chance of a little self promotion. This gives an excuse to talk sailing and nostalgia. At least two of the current committee members joined after contact at these events. One even became Commodore.
RV Show at Sandown gives a chance to see and be seen.
Go Sailing Weekend: A great excuse to go sailing is at Docklands, and with the great support of the Docklands Sailing Club, The Hartley 18 -21 club was able to take some old and new Sailors, and a few just there for curiosity, for a slow but pleasant trip around the dockland area.
The following weekend, Hobbit took pride of place at the Sandringham Sail Show. A surprising the number of people made known they had either built or sailed a Hartley in the past.
